Celebrate the Parks

Our Wedding

After Kayla graduated from college, she moved back home to keep working at her internship and start applying for full-time jobs. To make some extra money, she picked up a part-time waitressing job at Fitz’s on the Lake—which just so happened to be the same restaurant Chris lived down the street from. Chris was spending his summer and weekends serving there while finishing his final year of school.

There was an instant crush (and yes, Chris was a little bummed he didn’t get to train the new waitress 😅). After a summer full of flirting—and lots of hangman games between tables—Chris finally asked Kayla out.

The rest is history! We've been living together in Waunakee for the past three years with our dog, Finn. We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!

Bus Schedule

The bus will take you to the venue at 2:40 p.m. We just ask that you’re in the Hilton Garden Inn lobby and ready around 2:30 p.m. so we can get everyone loaded up and leave on time! There will be one return trip back to the hotel at the end of the night, leaving the venue at 11 p.m.And a reminder: you don’t need to be staying at the hotel to take the bus!Checking in Saturday? No need to worry about checking in before the bus leaves! The hotel can hold your bags while you’re at the wedding, and you can check in when you get back that night.

We have a room block at the Hilton Garden Inn in Middleton! Transportation will be provided to and from the hotel.

Hilton Garden Inn Madison West/Middleton

The Hilton Garden Inn in Middleton is about 25 minutes from the venue (believe it or not, hotel options near Arena are pretty limited!). If you'd rather stay a little closer to the venue, House on the Rock Resort in Spring Green and Deer Valley Lodge in Barneveld are both great options. Just keep in mind that our bus service will only be available to and from the Hilton Garden Inn in Middleton.
